Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive SEO & Website Specialist to optimise our online presence and manage our website content effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of search engine optimisation, web development, and content management systems. Duties
* Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
* Manage update and maintain website content using WordPress or other content management systems, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
* Analyse website performance using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager to identify optimisation opportunities.
* Optimise website metadata, including titles, descriptions, and keywords, to enhance search engine visibility.
* Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are applied across all digital content.
* Perform technical audits of websites, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code, to identify issues affecting performance or search rankings.
* Manage social media platforms to support overall digital marketing strategies and increase engagement.
* Monitor industry trends and algorithm updates to adapt strategies accordingly.
* Assist in the development of landing pages and optimise user experience for better conversion rates.
* Managing John Brown 4x4's Instagram, X & Facebook accounts.
Qualifications
* Proven experience with WordPress or similar content management systems.
* Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their application in website optimisation.
* Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
* Solid understanding of SEO principles, metadata optimisation, and keyword research.
* Experience in social media management as part of digital marketing efforts is desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
