Yard Sales Supervisor – Redruth
Full‑time position based in the Redruth branch.
Working Hours
Monday‑Friday 07:30 – 17:00 and every other Saturday 08:00‑12:00, with reasonable additional hours as required.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects.
* Get to know our product lines to offer help and advice.
* Ensure your team is set up for the day, including delivery drivers and route planning.
* Help to process and prepare customer orders – load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided).
* Work as a direct support to the management team and act as a keyholder when needed.
* Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products.
* Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts.
* Keep the branch clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority.
* Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement.
* Assist with the management of yard staff.
* Work across other business areas as and when needed.
