Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Senior Bagel Chef to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading the culinary team by ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently, products are made to our specifications and all general food preparation is completed throughout the week. This position is vital for maintaining the high standards of quality, food hygiene and efficiency that our establishment prides itself on.
Duties
* Preparing our bagels to the quality and standards that are set out.
* Keeping the kitchen area clean and spotless at all times.
* Assist with all food preparation throughout the week.
* Ensure food safety standards are kept high at all times.
* Stock rotation within a food safe manner.
* Dispose of waste correctly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
* Assist in receiving deliveries and checking inventory levels.
* Complete dedicated cleaning tasks daily including deep cleaning weekly.
* Complete basic administrative tasks such as checklists and stocktakes.
* Ordering stock from our suppliers using our platforms.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a fast paced restaurant kitchen or fast casual dining environment is preferred.
* A keen interest in food quality and food preparation is required.
* Ability to work and lead efficiently in both a small team or solo environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure all standards are upheld.
* Have a 'what can I do next?' attitude towards your work.
* Willingness to learn and take direction from management.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and weekend evenings.

Our flagship restaurant in Harpenden also offers a breakfast and lunch service. We strive to offer friendly and welcoming customer service throughout our business.
Brad & Dills was founded by two friends who grew up in Hertfordshire. Their mission was to bring a well rounded quality food and drink business using the industry experience they learnt in London and other cities across the globe. They realised that their home county needed a business like this and therefore set out to create Brad & Dills.
The business started in 2021 through the challenging COVID outbreak but navigated successfully through it and now has 4 sites, all of which have been very successful and are continuing to grow in popularity.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
