About the Role:
The successful candidate will work on delivering a wide portfolio of projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments with planning applications, policy research, site appraisals, stakeholder engagement, and local plan representations, gaining exposure to all aspects of the UK planning system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the preparation and submission of planning applications and supporting documents.
* Assist with site assessments, planning strategy reports, and development feasibility.
* Monitor local and national planning policy updates.
* Conduct research, prepare planning statements, and support the appeals process.
* Attend site visits and client meetings, with guidance from senior team members.
* Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and clients.
About You:
* A relevant degree (RTPI-accredited Town Planning or related subject).
* A genuine interest in planning and the built environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
* Highly organised with good attention to detail.
* Eligibility for or working towards RTPI licentiate membership.
