Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Learning and Development Manager in the Derby area on a permanent basis. The position for the Learning and Development Manager will see the candidate working alongside management teams to ensure the company is meeting the training and development needs. This will involve delivering high- quality training, implementing appraisals and to ensure the staff are knowledgeable enough to provide outstanding care.
The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for:
Delivering mandatory training to all frontline staff.
Respond to urgent training needs as required.
Research, design, and deliver training packages to strengthen workforce capability.
Research and introduce new training and learning opportunities.
Liaise with Registered Managers to identify ways to improve service quality.
Support managers in planning their workforce development.
The Learning and Development Manager will need:
Recognised training qualification (e.g. PTLLS/DTLLS, AET, or equivalent).
MUST HAVE experience delivering training in the Children's residential care settings..
MUST HAVE knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in childrens residential care.
