Business Development Manager
Autajon Packaging Simply Cartons is part of the Autajon Group, a European leader in premium and specialist packaging solutions. We design and manufacture high-quality folding cartons for leading brands across food, confectionery, spirits, beauty, healthcare and gifting. As part of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager with a strong hunter mentality to accelerate new business wins across our target sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business acquisition across key sectors
* Identify, target and win new customers through proactive prospecting and networking
* Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities via Salesforce
* Lead the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and close
* Deliver compelling presentations and commercially robust proposals
* Develop strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers
* Manage and grow a small existing portfolio
* Collaborate closely with internal teams
* Represent the business at exhibitions, industry events and customer meetings
About You
* Proven hunter with a strong track record of winning new business in a B2B environment
* Experience within folding cartons / packaging / manufacturing highly desirable
* Commercially driven with the ability to open doors and close deals
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
* Self‑motivated, resilient and results‑focused
* Able to manage your own pipeline and prioritise effectively
* Experience using CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
* Full UK driving licence
