We are currently seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor to oversee drainage works on a National Highways project in the Cambridge area. This is a contract opportunity with a reputable civil engineering contractor, offering consistent work on a long-term programme. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising drainage-focused works on the strategic road network. You will ensure all site activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards, while maintaining strong communication with site teams and client representatives. Key Responsibilities: ·Supervise drainage and associated highways works in line with National Highways specifications ·Manage operatives, subcontractors, and site logistics ·Maintain accurate site records and daily diaries ·Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations ·Conduct site briefings, inductions, and toolbox talks ·Liaise with engineers, site managers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery Essential Requirements: ·Proven experience supervising highways drainage works, ideally on National Highways projects ·Valid SMSTS or SSSTS ·Valid CAT & Genny training ·Current Safety Critical Medical ·Strong knowledge of H&S regulations for high-speed road environments ·Full UK driving licence ·Eligibility to work in the UK For more information please click APPLY NOW or call Harvey Barlow on (phone number removed).
