As the business continues to grow and refine its production capabilities, as the Production Manager you will play a key role in driving performance and ensuring world‑class manufacturing standards. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations within the production department. The Production Manager will ensure efficient output, maintain exceptional quality standards, and lead a high‑performing team. You'll collaborate closely with planning, quality, supply chain, and senior leadership to meet customer demand, improve processes, and create a safe and productive working environment. Duties & Responsibilities Implement and manage production schedules in collaboration with the Production Planner. Monitor and adjust schedules according to customer demand, material availability, and capacity constraints. Ensure effective utilisation of labour, equipment, and materials. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production personnel, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Work with the Quality Manager to maintain quality control processes, audits, and inspections. Apply lean manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies. Collaborate with Materials and Supply Chain teams to manage WIP and raw material levels. Ensure seamless material flow to maintain uninterrupted production schedules. Produce regular reports on production KPIs, including absorbed hours, productivity, efficiency, and quality. Skills & Experience Required Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in a manufacturing, operations, or production management role. Demonstrated success leading and developing production teams. Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and control. Experience implementing lean principles and driving continuous improvement.
