Champion Inclusion – SEND Teacher (Autism & PMLD) Location: Borehamwood Start Date: ASAP / February 2026 Contract: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent Salary: £34,398 – £52,490 About the Role We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join specialist SEN schools in the Borehamwood area, supporting pupils with Autism and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). You will deliver highly personalised learning experiences through one-to-one and small group teaching, using structured routines, sensory approaches, and communication strategies to support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inclusion and making a meaningful difference in a specialist setting. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: QTS (or equivalent) Experience working with pupils with Autism and/or PMLD Strong skills in personalised planning, differentiation, and assessment A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Confidence using sensory strategies and alternative communication methods A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice Why Work with Supply Desk?
