The role
Portfolio Management is part of SSEN’s Asset Management directorate. The Portfolio Management team acts as custodian of the 132kV, 33kV, 11kV, and LV Primary and distribution network, responsible for planning, technical development, and overseeing investment in SSEN’s distribution networks in the South of England.
You will
1. Identify project solutions to improve the health and performance of the network.
2. Help identify and manage the CAPEX and OPEX investment programme.
3. Ensure that available funding is spent efficiently and effectively on secondary Voltage investments.
4. Work closely with other teams in SSEN and contribute to the planning and development of the distribution networks in line with the company's licence obligations and industry regulator's objectives in the Price Control Reviews.
You have
* A minimum of HNC in Electrical Engineering with experience working on DNO Primary and/or Distribution networks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
* Leadership and organisational skills, along with good judgement in decision-making.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems logically, communicating proposals and reasoning effectively.
* A full, current driving licence is essential for this role.
