Domain Payments Solution Architect
We are looking for a Domain Payments Solution Architect to help our international retail banking client move from strategy to reality by building lasting solutions.
Contract: 3-6 months inside IR35 PAYE Umbrella. Onsite in London 2 days/week.
Responsibilities
* Capture deliverables and requirements at the functional level, identifying all the impacts to current functionality.
* Create end‑to‑end high‑level designs for global transaction services and treasury projects in the corporate banking domain.
* Conduct walkthroughs for requirement and solution assessments with stakeholders, governance committees, and the design authority.
* Support the delivery teams throughout the agile project lifecycle.
* Perform initial engagement with the business to determine concept designs and project estimates, providing technology guidance.
* Determine the impact of projects developed by other technology teams on the EMEA Treasury environment (technology, people, process).
* Review project designs for adherence to the organization’s design standards and technology stack.
* Set the technology strategy (technology and design standards) for the department.
* Work closely with the enterprise architecture team to build out the treasury platform.
* Support the build‑out of the Global Banking and Markets Technology strategy through the development of blueprints in the treasury space.
* Ensure timely and quality deliverables, and provide regular status reporting to senior management in technology and the business.
Desired Experience
* Extensive experience in the corporate banking domain.
* Extensive experience designing solutions for corporate banking services, such as payments, client liquidity, trade finance, loans, and virtual account management.
* Understanding of various payment schemes, especially in the UK and EU, and cross‑border payments.
* Experience working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and document solutions.
* Proven track record of leading application design for multiple solutions across technology platforms.
* Extensive technical and data analysis experience working with a variety of architectures.
* Experience in vendor package selection and integration.
Requirements
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided, either now or in the future, for this position.
