The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Account Manager who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and driving growth for our clients. You'll be at the centre of everything — from handling day-to-day queries to presenting account reviews and spotting new opportunities.
Because we're a small, collaborative team, this role is varied and practical. One day, you might be showing a client around our facilities and explaining our processes; the next, you'll be coordinating with couriers and hauliers to ensure smooth deliveries, or working closely with our New Business team to onboard new accounts.
This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys being proactive, values strong client relationships, and wants to be part of a growing company where your voice really matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with your clients — becoming their go-to person.
* Manage the full client journey, from onboarding handover through to growth and retention.
* Handle queries directly, resolving issues quickly and effectively using our knowledge base.
* Work closely with couriers and hauliers when needed to help resolve delivery queries and ensure clients receive excellent service.
* Collaborate daily with other departments to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
* Show clients around our facilities and walk them through our end-to-end process.
* Develop and implement account growth plans and accurately forecast pipeline opportunities.
* Present regular account reviews with confidence, providing clear insights and recommendations.
* Keep accurate records of sales, communications, and activity.
* Report monthly on your accounts, including SWOT analysis and performance summaries.
* Bring fresh ideas and contribute to shaping how we work as a team and serve our clients.
What We're Looking For
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving ability — practical, logical, and solutions-focused.
* Previous experience in account management or sales (minimum 1 year in each).
* Computer literacy with solid numerical and analytical skills.
* A genuine customer service mindset, handling queries with professionalism and respect.
* Someone proactive, reliable, and ready to roll up their sleeves.
* Preferred: Experience dealing with couriers, hauliers, or logistics partners.
