Contract Type: Full-time, Term-Time Only (Mon–Fri)
Salary: £89 – £110 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)

One of our valued partner secondary schools in Stockport is looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This is an ideal position for an ambitious graduate interested in progressing into teaching or educational psychology. The school has a strong track record of supporting graduates into PGCE, Schools Direct, or Future Teachers routes.
Role Overview:
* Work alongside experienced teachers in KS3 and KS4 classrooms, supporting learning across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
* Deliver targeted intervention sessions in small groups, focusing on literacy, numeracy, or revision
* Provide in-class support for students with mild to moderate learning needs
* Help prepare classroom resources and assist with lesson delivery
* Provide pastoral and behavioural support where needed
Candidate Requirements:
* Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
* Confident, professional and passionate about working with young people
* Prior experience in a school, tuition or youth setting is desirable but not essential
* Long-term interest in a career in education or SEND support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
