An exciting opportunity has emerged for a leading UK law firm as they have started their search for an experienced Environmental Solicitor to join its nationally recognised Planning & Environment Group.
This multi-disciplinary team brings together specialist legal and planning consultancy expertise, delivering practical, commercially driven advice across a wide range of development sectors.
It’s a rare opportunity to join a team recognised for its technical excellence, broad sector experience, and its ability to seamlessly integrate planning, regulatory, and advocacy support.
Responsibilities:
* Environmental permitting & regulatory compliance
* Waste management & end-of-waste issues
* Climate change, emissions, and contaminated land
* Environmental due diligence for real estate and corporate transactions
* Pollution and environmental risk management
* Regulatory defence and enforcement matters
Experience & Knowledge:
* UK qualified solicitor with 6+ years of post-qualification experience in environmental law
* Proven experience in real estate/corporate transactional support, permitting, waste, contaminated land, or pollution-related
* Exposure to criminal defence and regulatory work
* Passionate about environmental law
