Responsibilities
* Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines, including mill/turn and multi-axis equipment.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support NPI projects, helping to refine and optimise new components.
* Conduct first-off inspections and complete all necessary quality and process documentation.
* Machine precision components to exacting tolerances within an aerospace production environment.
Skills and Experience
* Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience operating CNC machinery (Okuma, Mazak, DMG, Matsura, Puma, or similar).
* Strong background in precision engineering or manufacturing; aerospace experience is advantageous.
* In-depth knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and inspection techniques.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement.
