We are seeking enthusiastic and service-driven Commis Waiters to join our opening team and help shape a world-class dining destination in the heart of London. About the location
Set in the heart of the City, overlooking Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, Tower Bridge is the starting point for discovering London’s historic past, alongside its exhilarating present. This famous five-star hotel remains the centre of attention, as a new chapter begins in its history. This beautiful grade II listed building and former HQ of the Port of London Authority has 100 rooms, 41 residential apartments of which 31 units are in a FS run transient rental program, a stunning ballroom which has hosted the inaugural Reception of the United Nations, 5 meeting rooms, a stunning destination spa with 8 treatment rooms, hammam, steam, sauna and swimming and vitality pool, and a fantastic Food and Beverage offering including Mei Ume (Chinese/ Japanese cuisine) and Rotunda (all day dining, afternoon tea & bar).
Role
As a Commis Waiter, you’ll support the front-of-house team in delivering seamless, attentive service. From preparing the restaurant for service to assisting with food and beverage delivery, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every guest has a smooth and memorable experience. Please note that this role is expected to commence in early February 2026.
What you will do
* Assist with setting up and clearing tables before, during, and after service
* Support the service team by delivering food and beverages promptly and professionally
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all service areas
* Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
* Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow
* Uphold Four Seasons standards while learning and growing in your role
What you bring
* A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A willingness to learn and grow within a luxury environment
* Proficiency in spoken English
* The Right to Work in the UK
Schedule and hours
* This is a full-time position, contracted at 40 hours per week
* Earliest start time will be 6am, and the latest finish will be around 1am
* The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. Candidates must be flexible to work mornings, evenings and weekends
