PPAP Engineer - Glamorgan (Hybrid) - up to £37,000 Relocation Benefits - Ref 1899 I am currently recruiting for a PPAP Engineer to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Glamorgan, however on a hybrid basis. Salary up to £40,000 Relocation Benefits. The organisation has been in operation for many years and are worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. As a business they turnover north of £85m, employ 500 people and are constantly evolving their legacy products as well as designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market. In line with demand for their products and to support the business with their growth plans they have the need to appoint another PPAP Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role as a PPAP Engineer your primary responsibility will be to review and approve PPAP submissions. This role will also entail and hands on element and you will be expected to be measure samples via hand held equipment, 3D scanners and vision systems, but full training can be provided. You will be reviewing, quality checking and approving drawings. This role will also include you running line trials for NPI/NPD or for the PPAP process. You will also oversee quality audit trials where will have you sourcing samples, passing them to the testing team to conduct the necessary tests and then you will review the findings. There will be very infrequent travel to suppliers which will be 2-3 times p/year and this will be UK based within the local area. Essential Requirements: - Previous experience as a PPAP Engineer or similar - At least 2 years experience - PPAP Desirable Requirements: - Experience within a highly regulated environment - Experience with plastic injection moulded components This is a fantastic opportunity for a PPAP Engineer to work for a growing company who are working with some of the most advanced technology available.
