Job Role & Summary
Dundee Football Club have an exciting opportunity within the football department available and the window for applications is now open.
This role will play a key part in maximising Dundee FC's players and coaches' ability to perform at the highest level, with a view to winning football matches across all league and major competitions.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Contribute to a comprehensive analytical service for all first team matches.
* Pre and post-training analysis/support and pre, live and post-match analysis/support which will include subjective analysis, data analysis, file management, filming/coding and clipping/editing.
* Attend all Dundee FC fixtures, home and away, to support the performance analysis provision.
* Deliver an exceptionally high standard of work in a pressurised environment with tight deadlines. To be able to work flexible hours where the role of the job requires.
* Ensure all historical and previous resources are databased and stored effectively and made accessible where required.
Person Specification
Experience
Essential:
* A high level of football knowledge, with the ability to contextualise this knowledge and produce player facing material.
* Experience of working in a professional sports environment as a Performance Analyst.
* Experience of using analysis systems (Hudl Sportscode, Studio, Insight or similar analysis software).
* Set up and ensure a live touchline video solution allows for the tactical, technical, and medical review of instances live during all first-team games.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Time management skills to be able to plan and regulate workload including the ability to prioritise demands and thrive under pressure.
* Excellent IT skills including intermediate abilities in all MS Office programmes.
Desirable:
* Experience of working in a Performance Analysis role within a First Team football environment at an elite level and/or experience of coaching elite players.
