This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the Countess of Chester Hospital team. You will work closely with the Head of Operations for Cancer and Outpatients, as well as wider Divisional teams, playing a key role in transforming Cancer services at the Trust.
You will lead on scoping current Cancer services across COCH, working with key stakeholders to develop future services and engaging with service users in the design and delivery process.
Main duties of the job
* Review and scope the current Cancer service across COCH.
* Support the Diagnostics and Clinical Support Services Division in operational transformation of Cancer services.
* Work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential):
* Degree or equivalent
* Knowledge of national cancer strategies
* Experience in service development and change in practice
* Understanding of Cancer Services
* Strong project management experience in healthcare
Desirable qualifications include:
* Master’s degree
* Management qualification or experience
* Prince 2 or equivalent project management certification
* Lean methodology knowledge
* Experience within NHS cancer projects
Experience (Essential):
* Excellent communication and people management skills
* Advanced IT skills for project development
* Experience in giving presentations and leading meetings
* Ability to prioritize and liaise across teams
