Our outstanding English Department, is seeking to appoint a committed and dedicated teacher. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the craft of teaching, will demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for learning and will be able to inspire and convince our students of the lasting value of skilled reading, writing, speaking and listening practices.
The successful applicant will be an inspirational and innovative teacher expected to teach English across the age range, from Year 7 through to A-level, and will relish the opportunity to do so. Whether an ECT or more experienced, the successful individual will be an inspirational and innovative teacher who wishes to make use of a fantastic opportunity to further their career within an outstanding school.

Lawrence Sheriff School is an outstanding boys’ grammar school of approximately 1200 students, around 450 of whom are in our coeducational sixth form.
