Lead .net Developer (Backend)
Primary Purpose
Use C# .net with our leading edge technology stack to develop solutions for clients and core product functionality to incorporate into “Horizon” our fast growing customer data platform CDP product.
Carry out problem solving assignments to work out how to solve problems with your technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Key tasks will also include the following:
* Leading projects involving one or more other developers
* Mentoring and supporting development staff
* Providing technical guidance and problem solving expertise
* Driving project execution
* Contribution towards planning and estimation
* Development of new functionality using .net
* Unit test development
* Problem solving and troubleshooting.
* Participation in team meetings and supporting colleagues and co-workers
* Estimation of work
You will deal with a broad stack of cutting edge technology and gain invaluable experience with “big-data”.
Our technology stack includes Kafka / Kubernetes / Docker / Clickhouse / Git / Devops
Languages we use include C# / React / Javascript / Typescript / SQL
Experience & Qualities
The ideal candidate is broadly based and would want their work to include big and complex backend work, but might also have some experience with frontend too.
* To be able to run a small team and take lead on projects
* Keen to learn new subjects and keen to keep up to date with new technology.
* Experience with the Microsoft .NET stack (primarily C# and particularly .net core)
* IT literate generally and a good problem solver.
* Advantageous to have knowledge of database architecture and SQL.
* A working knowledge of JavaScript or other languages is an advantage.
