Lecturer in Occupational Therapy
The University of Salford is seeking a dynamic academic at Lecturer level (Grade 8) with experience in occupational therapy education. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Subject and the team to deliver high quality teaching and learning, ensuring excellent student outcomes across pre‑ and post‑registration occupational therapy programmes, enterprise and research.
We are looking for a motivated, creative and ambitious academic who is an excellent team player, willing to work on a variety of tasks within the Occupational Therapy team, the Directorate and the wider School/University. The role offers career development within an innovative, progressive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, design, develop and deliver a range of high‑quality programmes of study at all levels in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Support the development and delivery of innovative, simulation and practice‑based learning opportunities within our newly accredited occupational therapy programmes.
* Work with industry partners to innovate and identify and explore opportunities for enterprise, research and knowledge exchange.
* Foster the development of an inclusive community, using teaching approaches that encourage inclusivity, working in partnership with students to improve belonging, diversifying the curriculum and using inclusive assessment approaches to close the award gap.
* Progress research and enterprise activities in line with School priorities.

Salary and Employment
Employment type: Full‑time

Salary: £47,389 – £56,536 per annum (based on experience and qualifications)
