My Hertfordshire based client is a privately owned SME with over twenty years of experience in providing commercial cleaning and soft FM services. They operate across various sites including offices, residential, commercial communal areas, clinical spaces, retail outlets, theatres, museums, and galleries.
I am recruiting a full-time Mobile Support Supervisor/Manager (40 hours, flexible based on site needs). The role combines operational management with hands-on mobile support. The weekly schedule involves managing multiple sites with support from the Head of Operations (three days) and providing deep cleaning support (two days). The sites are located in the Midlands/East Anglia, with occasional overnight stays for specialist tasks.
Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in deep cleaning (carpets, hard floors, windows, cleaning machines) and some supervisory or management experience within the cleaning industry. Residence within the operating area, adaptability, and flexibility to work out of hours are essential. Supervisor/Manager duties
* Provide operational management support across client sites
* Complete site audits and resolve issues promptly
* Manage staff timesheets and holidays
* Conduct out-of-hours spot checks
* Ensure health & safety procedures are followed and promote safe working practices
* Recruit, train, and support cleaning staff
* Handle disciplinary procedures as needed
* Organize and delegate tasks to staff and operatives
* Respond to client complaints and resolve issues
* Manage stock and supplies via company systems
* Induct and mobilize new staff and sites
Mobile Support Cleaner duties
* Provide operational support across sites
* Cover staff holidays and sickness as directed
* Perform deep cleaning tasks (carpets, floors, ovens, windows, jet washing)
* Maintain records of tasks performed
* Report equipment issues or hazards
* Maintain company vehicle
* Follow health & safety procedures and promote safe practices
* Liaise with managers to meet KPIs
Candidate requirements

Salary is £31,595.20 per annum (£15.19/hour), with potential overtime and performance bonuses. The package includes a company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, and iPad.
