Location: Peterborough
Salary: £26,000, Share Scheme, Pension and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). We currently have exciting opportunities for industrial placement students across several of our sites. You will work with others across the organisation and be directly involved, at the heart of our business, participating in strategic projects.
* Please note that in order to be eligible to complete a 12‑month Industrial Placement commencing July 2026, you must be in your penultimate year of study unless enrolled in an integrated master’s program.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Business Systems Analyst
* Work on multiple IT projects across Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Sales and Aftermarket groups.
* Gather requirements, analysis, functional design, development specifications and testing.
* Collaborate with people across the globe as the business functions serve CAT facilities in the UK, US, China, Brazil, Mexico and India.
* Provide operational support across globally used applications using ITIL processes including incident, problem and change management.

* Applicants will be on target to achieve a minimum of 2:2 honours degree level in a Computing Subject.
Recruitment Process
Stage 1 – Online Application: Submit via the online form and attach your CV before the closing date.
Stage 2 – Video Interview: Selected candidates will complete a user‑friendly video interview.
Stage 3 – Assessment Centre: An assessment day will evaluate teamwork, decision‑making, communication and problem‑solving.
Stage 4 – Offer: Successful applicants will receive an offer. Placement students start on 6 July 2026.
