The Supporter Care and Insights team at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity sits within our Income Generation and Communications department, this dedicated team manage relationships throughout our community in order to raise vital funds to contribute to the cost of our care. Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity for someone to join us as Head of Supporter Care and Insights This is a permanent role based at our Hospice in Cambridge, we have a full time role available but would welcome applications from candidates wanting a part time role, working between 30 – 37.5 hours per week. The Head of Supporter Care and Insights will be responsible for overseeing all supporter data and income streams, including general fundraising, lottery and appeals & campaigns, as well as leading the supporter care and insights team. This role will place the charity’s supporters at the heart of our strategy, ensuring we manage supporter data responsibly, and in doing so enable the fundraising team to develop income generation opportunities for the benefit of the entire charity and the community we serve. Main duties will include: Developing a clear vision and strategy for the supporter care and insights team, identifying areas where the team can support income generation and the deepening of supporter relationships. Managing annual income and expenditure budgets and targets, preparing income projections and monitoring income and expenditure, as well as developing key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensuring effective stewardship and reporting through accurate recording and maintenance of fundraising donations, activities, and communications on our database. Leading on a strategy to understand and grow our collections, regular giving, and appeals and campaigns donations. Leading the supporter care and insights team to create a series of income generation activities, including their anticipated lifecycles and their planned goals. To be successful in this role, it’s required for candidates to hold a degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field, as well as having previous experience working with supporters within a fundraising environment, demonstrating a track record of providing excellent customer care. Previous experience working with customer relationship management systems is also essential, as well as line management skills and experience. Due to the nature of the role, it’s required that candidates hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes. This role will be based at our Hospice in Cambridge, we are able to discuss options for hybrid working after an initial induction and training programme is completed. Starting Salary of £44,617, with opportunities to progress to £51,058. Please note that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and needs to be pro-rata’d for part time posts.
