Due to new and exciting projects, our team in APT Skidata is growing further - join us as a Project Manager.
As Project Manage you will oversee all aspects of a project using planning, monitoring and controlling processes. Responsible for the completion of the project and to this end will perform a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning and tracking responsibilities, monitoring and summarising progress of the project. The Project Manager will handle more than one project at a time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure that once a sale is made that the project is managed effectively to ensure that the customers’ expectations from the sale are met
2. Ensure the project is completed within the committed time scales (including project plans)
3. Planning required resources internal & external
4. Ensure that the project margins are hours and expenses – managing project budget)
5. Ensure there is a quality installation provided, completion of on-site documented audits
6. Attend client meetings on site where required
7. Support of the sales team
8. Minimise exposure and risk on a project
9. Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately – specific completion certificates
10. Ensure all work is conducted with full regard to Health and Safety of our customers, staff and subcontractors
11. Adherence to CDM
12. Building strong and long term customer relationships
13. Attendance of required rhythm meetings and conference calls
14. Awareness of Skidata/supply partner products
15. Administration of expenses, holidays and sickness is managed in an efficient and timely manner
16. Follow up with clients where necessary on unpaid invoices
17. Accurate forecasting of project income and completion
18. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely manner

Profile
What we are looking for
We are looking to employ someone who is self-motivated, confident with a strong sense of achievement, the individual will ideally have been exposed to a project management role with basic knowledge of electrical and cabling installations and the ability to manage on site personnel and customer expectations. Other qualities include:

21. Variation and addition Proposal and Quotation generation
22. Operate within a CRM environment
23. General business knowledge
24. Specific knowledge of accepted accounting practices and revenue models, P/l and cost to completion projections)
25. Understanding of pricing models
26. Excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing at all levels in the organisation
27. Skills or experience with personal computers, including: email, personal scheduling, word processing and electronic spreadsheet skills, internet, intranet, and client server architecture
28. Client liaison and customer focus
29. Able to work under pressure and make important decisions and abide by them
30. Knowledge of Parking Systems or Security Systems would be advantageous but not a requirement
31. Good administration and co-ordination skills
32. Strong personal influencing & communication skills
33. Strong motivation to achieve, well organised and structured approach
34. Ensure that all activities are conducted within our Health and safety and Environmental policies
35. Health & Safety trained (, SMSTS) an advantage but training will be provided
36. To undertake any work of an appropriate nature as directed by the Installations manager
37. Full UK driving licence
38. Right to work in the UK
