Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a leading organisation in the Portsmouth area.
The role will be working within a small team and will encompass a wide range of financial and management accounting tasks.
Key duties of the role include:
* Month end journals, accruals and prepayments
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Performing stock reconciliations
* VAT returns
* Fixed asset management
* Assisting with the external audit
* Processing payroll journals
* Identifying and implementing system and process improvements
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Proven experience in a management accountant or similar role
* Strong analytical skills
* Advanced excel skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Qualified, part qualified ( ACCA / AAT / CIMA ) or qualified by experience
