What the Job Involves The Electrical Inspector role involves conducting surveys and writing various types of reports, including Condition and Feasibility Reports, for a large residential social housing portfolio. You will inspect ongoing electrical works on-site, addressing any issues related to specifications, regulations, or health and safety. As part of your responsibilities, you will liaise with project managers, quantity surveyors, and main contractors, as well as attend project progress meetings. You will also engage with residents, sometimes requiring flexible hours, and ensure quality and standards through snagging processes and records. The role offers the potential to transition to a permanent position.
