Join Ashtead Technology as a Technical Draughtsperson in Thainstone, where you will work in collaboration with our Engineering department to drive the design process from ideation to production, ensuring that outputs meet all company standards, as well as ISO 9001: 2015 / ISO 45001: 2018 QHSE Management System requirements. What You’ll Be Doing: Prepare new engineering drawings including assembly, manufacturing, general arrangement and general assembly drawings for manufacture and fabrication Revising existing technical drawings, designs, and documentation packages as required ensuring they meet manufacturing, technical and project requirements at all times Assist with creating of hydraulic and electric schematic drawings for production Draughting of documentation including but not limited to test reports, operations & maintenance manuals and risk assessments Draughting of 3D parts, assemblies, and concept designs as necessary Creation of bill of materials and selection of suitable components for manufacture Support and collaborate with the workshop team by inspecting parts as needed and assisting with new product builds What you’ll bring: We are looking for someone with a collaborative approach, working effectively as part of a team while demonstrating strong organisational and communication skills.
