Our client, a reputable and growing workshop repair and recovery business based in Crowborough, England, United Kingdom, is seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an exciting, hands-on role that offers variety in day-to-day tasks, including recovery work and the opportunity to earn additional income through overtime and call-outs. This role is ideal for someone hardworking and mechanically experienced, looking to become part of a close-knit and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to diagnose faults and identify necessary repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
* Use hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely.
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and software.
* Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
* Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely and high-quality repair completion.
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience (preferred).
* Proficient in the use of automotive hand and power tools.
* Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
* High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and customers.

* Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per year (plus bonus & tips)
