Main duties of the job
As a Theatre Practitioner / ODP in Endoscopy, you will:

About us
Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital, situated next to the Nuffield Health Devonshire Gym in Derriford, Plymouth, has been part of the community since 1971. We feature 3 main theatres (2 laminar flow, 1 digital), a fully JAG-accredited endoscopy suite, and a 35-bedded ward with bays. Our outpatient department includes 12 consulting rooms, a dedicated ophthalmology suite, and ENT services. Our Diagnostic Imaging department offers plain film studies, ultrasound clinics, fluoroscopy, and mobile CT and MRI services, with the MRI service managed by a third party. We perform treatments across specialties including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, and Neurosurgery, and were recently rated in the top 50 hospitals nationally for total hip replacement outcomes.

1. Be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC)
2. Have relevant qualifications, post-registration experience, and excellent communication skills
3. Work effectively within a team
4. Take part in preoperative assessments
5. Contribute to high-quality, evidence-based patient care
6. Support and supervise junior staff
