Senior Sales Proposals Engineer
As part of Marine, you will join PFS (Parts & Field Service), Sales Proposals. You will develop business strategies to drive growth and profitability, support sales performance by generating new leads and opportunities, and leverage high-level customer experience.
This position reports to the UK Manager of Sales Proposals (CENO Region) and is based in the United Kingdom.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare sales proposals and supporting presentation materials for Spare Parts and Field Service.
* Support in presenting and explaining proposals to customers.
* Build and maintain a sales funnel through maintenance planning and dry-docking schedules.
* Coordinate internal and external promotion of solutions and success stories.
* Ensure CRM data quality.
* Approve offers within approval guidelines.
Main requirements in this role:
* Relevant technical education, preferably Associate, BSc, or equivalent, with marine-related work experience, an entrepreneurial mindset, and sales affinity. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
* Knowledge of regional markets and cultural awareness.
* Customer focus and ability to build business relationships.
* Good technical knowledge of Wärtsilä products and solutions.
* Strong business and results orientation.
* High attention to detail, proactive, and flexible.
* Experience in negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Drive for performance with a positive attitude.
