The Role
Position: Year 2 Class Teacher

Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time Considered
TLR: Available for Subject or Phase Leadership (for the right candidate)
As our Year 2 Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that consolidate Year 1 learning and prepare pupils for end-of-KS1 assessments.
* Provide effective formative assessment and targeted interventions to secure progress.
* Promote early reading fluency and confident maths strategies.
* Foster a positive classroom environment where all children feel supported and challenged.
* Work with colleagues and parents to ensure smooth transitions and strong outcomes for pupils.
* (If applicable) Take on subject or phase leadership as part of a TLR opportunity.
What We’re Looking For

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
* Are confident in delivering phonics, early reading, writing and maths.
