Laser OperatorJob RoleThis role of a Laser Operator is based our factory in Toome. We are seeking reliable and hardworking Laser Operatives to support our daily operations. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting machinery, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in supporting production targets while maintaining a strong focus on safety, precision, and continuous improvementKey ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor laser cutting machines in line with production requirementsSet up machinery, including loading materials and adjusting settingsEnsure products meet quality standards and carry out basic inspectionsWork collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and targetsNesting programmes for production.Always following all health and safety proceduresReporting any damage, defects, or safety concerns to managementSupporting general yard and workshop duties as requiredGeneral housekeeping and maintenance of equipmentRequirementsPrevious experience operating laser cutting machinery (e.g. CNC/laser systems)Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyKnowledge of health and safety practices within a manufacturing environmentStopa knowledge preferable, but not essential as training will be providedGood attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong understanding of health and safety practicesAttention to detailQuality and safety awarenessMotivated and willing to learnHours of workvarious shifts available40 hours per weekLocationToomeWe are an equal opportunities employerWHJS1_NI
