Category 2 Driver (HGV2, LGV2, CAT C, Class 2) Delivery driver – Hampshire – suitable for drivers in Portsmouth, Havant, Waterlooville, Petersfield and Guildford.
What We Offer
* Pay Rate: from £16.50-£18.00+ per hour (minimum 9 hours) – Paid Weekly
* Overtime available
* Contract: 14 Weeks / Ongoing / Ad hoc

* Minimum 1 year of experience required – Clean Licence (no more than 6 points permitted)

* Hours of Work: 06:45am – finish
* Availability required: Monday to Friday / Ad hoc / Weekend

Responsibilities
* Safely drive and operate HGV2 / LGV2 / Class 2 vehicles
* Cash handling required
* Complete multi-drop deliveries (lifting and shifting involved)
* Handle and deliver goods, ensuring items are transported securely
* Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and safety regulations during operations
* Ensure accurate completion of all delivery paperwork and digital records
* Provide excellent customer service when delivering to clients
* Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts, reporting any defects or maintenance issues
* Work efficiently to meet delivery timeframes in a fast-paced environment
* Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of goods when required
* Maintain good communication with the operations team and customers
* Ensure compliance with the company's health and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Experience
* HGV2, LGV2, Class 2 Licence – required
* At least 1 year experience as an HGV driver – essential
* Willingness to multi-drop and handle heavy lifting
* Experience with multi-drop HGV2 work
