Our client, a specialist litigation practice, is looking for an associate to join their growing insurance litigation team. As part of one of their specialist teams you will working along side legal experts in this sector as you specialise in professional indemnity. The role will involve defending claims against a wide variety of professionals, including architects, accountants, education institutions, engineers, insurance brokers and lawyers.
You can expect to develop your legal skills as you build relationships with a fantastic variety of clients and insurers whilst being mentored by highly renowned lawyers. The firm offers a competitive salary in todays legal market and flexible working which includes home/office working. Applicants will ideally be at least 4 years post qualified and have a background in insurance or commercial litigation, although applications from other litigation backgrounds is welcomed should you be interested in a switch to insurance litigation, applications are also considered from a pursuer background. Knowledge of Court of Session is high advantageous.
