This campaign has roles available in several locations. You may select up to 3 location preferences, but it is not mandatory. Please only choose locations you are willing to travel or re-locate to at your own expense. Candidates offered positions in preferred locations who decline or cannot take up the role within a reasonable timeframe will be withdrawn from the campaign.

Note that these vacancies are not currently eligible for new applications for Visa Sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route for candidates without permission to work in the UK, especially those sponsored before 4 April 2024, as they are not included in the Immigration Salary List. As a Work Coach, you play a vital role in helping individuals and families achieve financial independence through work, providing tailored support. You will deliver exceptional service with empathy and compassion, helping people through challenging times to find, stay in, and progress in employment.

The role is diverse, involving working with customers, employers, and colleagues via face-to-face, digital, and telephone contacts. Main activities include:

1. Supporting customers claiming Universal Credit, Employment and Support Allowance, Jobseeker's Allowance, and Income Support.
2. Providing quality advice on job search actions, supporting effective job searching, and matching customers to suitable vacancies.
3. Ensuring compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and providing additional support to access services.
4. Building positive, motivating relationships with customers.
5. Developing knowledge of local employment opportunities and partner support services.
6. Making timely decisions based on customer needs and referring to appropriate support.
7. Managing performance and caseloads effectively.

For roles based in Wales, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
