Position: Full-Time | Senior Early Years Educator (Over 2s Room)
Are you passionate about shaping young minds and creating magical learning moments? Ellwood Nursery is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Senior Early Years Educator to lead and nurture our vibrant group of children aged 2 and above.
As part of our small, warm and welcoming team, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality early years curriculum, mentoring fellow educators and apprentices, and ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Leading and supporting a small team, fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and care
* Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences tailored to each child's developmental stage
* Observing and assessing children's progress, and using your insights to guide next steps
* Building strong partnerships with parents and carers, sharing milestones and celebrating achievements
* Championing health, safety, and safeguarding standards across the nursery
* Supporting the Manager and Deputy, stepping up when needed to ensure smooth daily operations
What We're Looking For:
* A qualified Early Years Educator with experience working with children aged 2+
* A natural leader who inspires others and leads by example
* A deep understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
* Excellent communication skills and a warm, nurturing approach
