Hays Property and Surveying are seeking a Senior Surveyor or Associate to join a specialist firm of Chartered Surveyors located on the West Sussex / Hampshire border.

They hold a strong track record as a trusted advisor to GP Practices, NHS organisations, and healthcare investors across the UK. Their expertise spans across a variety of professionalmercial property matters including lease consultancy, rent reviews, valuations, development advice and investment transactions – ensuring their clients make confident, strategic property decisions that protect ie and support long-term sustainability.
The business is now looking to grow. With a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to appoint a new Senior Surveyor or Associate to join the team. The role will be based at their offices located on the West Sussex / Hampshire border, with the flexibility to work from home when appropriate.
Your new role
As a Senior Surveyor or Associate, you will have an opportunity to join a growing business operating within a niche sector that makes a real difference. You will be responsible for providing a variety of professional consultancy services on behalf of clients within the Healthcare sector, managing your own workload autonomously. This will have a predominant focus on lease advisory matters. However, your role will epass a range of important general practice work.
Key responsibilities –
1. Lease consultancy – including rent reviews and lease renewals.
2. Valuations – for partnership changes, investment, and development.
3. Advising GP practices, NHS bodies, and healthcare property investors.
4. Supporting clients throughplex property negotiations andpliance with NHS reimbursement frameworks.
5. Managing and maintaining client relationships.
6. Update and contribute to maintaining a database ofparable evidence.
7. Attending networking events on occasion.
What you'll need to succeed
8. MRICS qualified (Chartered Surveyor).
9. Strong experience in landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals and rent reviews.
10. Experience and an understanding of property valuation and/or other general practice work.
11. Preferably hold a track record of working within a property consultancy / surveying practice.
12. Knowledge of the Healthcare sector would be desirable.
13. Excellent written and verbal skills.
14. A professional and proactive approach, with strongmercial acumen.
15. A desire to work within a small, but growing, team and business.
