The Role
As Technical Safety Engineer, you’ll play a crucial part in supporting the safe and efficient operation of offshore assets. Working within the QSHE team, you’ll be the go-to expert for safety engineering, offering in-house guidance and driving compliance with UK legislation and industry best practices.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll lead and support a wide range of safety engineering activities, including:
1. Facilitating and chairing safety studies – HAZID, ALARP, Bowtie, Total Risk Management, and more
2. Creating Barrier Diagrams (Bowties) and developing risk visualisation tools
3. Consequence modelling using PHAST and FLARESIM software
