Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and customer-focussed Product Owner to drive the evolution of our Graphene Solution. This solution enables our customers—ranging from growing D2C brands to large retail enterprises—to deliver seamless, data-driven, and scalable customer experiences across digital and physical channels. In this role, you’ll own the product backlog, prioritize features based on customer and market needs, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, marketing, and sales. Your focus will be on creating innovative capabilities that empower retail and D2C brands to optimize customer engagement, streamline operations, and grow revenue.
Responsibilities
* Define and communicate the vision and roadmap for the Graphene solution, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
* Translate high-level business and customer requirements into detailed user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
* Own and prioritise the product backlog, making trade-offs between scope, time, and business value.
* Collaborate with design, engineering, and data teams to deliver impactful features—on time and with high quality.
* Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the solution addresses real-world use cases such as omnichannel customer journeys, personalized marketing, and fulfillment optimisation.
* Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) and ensure continuous alignment between teams and stakeholders.
* Partner with customer-facing teams (e.g., sales, customer success, implementation) to understand pain points, collect feedback, and support go-to-market efforts.
* Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and maintain differentiation.
* Champion product adoption and support change management across customer organizations.
Qualifications
* Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product development lifecycles.
* Experience working with or building solutions in areas such as order management systems (OMS), customer data platforms (CDPs), loyalty engines, or headless commerce platforms.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
* Comfortable working across technical and business teams, translating customer problems into product opportunities.
* Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Mixpanel, Segment).
Benefits
* Competitive salary and benefits package
* Ongoing training and development opportunities
* Opportunity to work on innovative projects
* Friendly and collaborative work environment
* Career growth and advancement possibilities
