Adults Generic Review Team

Pay rate: £32 per hour
We are looking for experienced and passionate Social Workers to join the Adults Generic Review Team. Ideally, candidates will have 2-3 years’ experience within Adults Social Care. You will ensure best practices are upheld and championed in all you do. The team focuses on solving problems proactively to meet the needs of vulnerable adults, reducing the risk of harm. The Review Team conducts scheduled and targeted reviews using a strength-based approach under the Care Act, along with Mental Capacity and Best Interests assessments. The team also has a duty function, requiring regular participation in this role.
This team collaborates with professionals across health, therapies, external providers, and families. It’s an exciting time to join adult social care with friendly, experienced, and supportive colleagues committed to citizen-centered services.
In accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, and guided by social care values and principles, you will support the delivery of person-centered, safe, and effective social care services. Your professional knowledge and experience will enable you to make assessments and decisions on appropriate interventions. Using your significant Social Work experience and excellent communication skills, you will establish and maintain relationships with service users and agencies to meet their needs.
You will be dedicated to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes through your interventions. Applying best practices, you will strive for the best outcomes for adults, with a passion for supporting their independence and well-being. Our priority is to protect the most vulnerable and work efficiently.
Ideal candidate will be:
* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
* Experienced in working with adults, including vulnerable groups
* Creative, flexible, and forward-thinking
* Knowledgeable of adult social care legislation and issues
* Committed to continuous improvement
* Excellent at building relationships and engaging with adults and agencies
* Experienced in multi-disciplinary, interagency work
* At least 4 years qualified
In this role, you will:
* Assess risks, protection needs, and social care requirements
* Manage an agreed caseload
* Use specialist communication skills to achieve outcomes
* Develop individual care plans promoting dignity and empowerment
* Support and advise unqualified staff and students
