Our client are a multinational logisticspany with a nationwide portfolio. They are hiring a Regional Property Manager to join their central facilities & property team to deliver maintenance services, including projects, to their 'South' region. You will generally be home-based travelling to sites and working at them 3-4 days per week (can have a working base at a site close to you).
Your new role
As Regional Property Manager, you will take ownership for the delivery of maintenance services and projects for 10+ largemercial sites in the south region. You will work to project assets and meet thepany's business requirements as well as ensure legal responsibilities. Key duties will include:
1. Delivering the annual Leasehold and capital works within budget and program. Obtainingpetitive and value for money quotations.
2. Ensuring all plant and equipment is serviced and maintained in accordance with all Statutory Regulations and good practice.
3. Ensuring all day-to-day repairs and call-outs are attended to and carried out to the expected high standards.
4. Manage the preparation and delivery of property projects.
5. Manage the delivery of repair and maintenance works, as well as refurbishment and alteration projects, via preferred suppliers.
6. Contract management with regard to the provision of maintenance of all sites within the region.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will require a technical background and proven track record in delivering maintenance and projects to amercial property portfolio. You will also require:
7. Relevant qualifications (CIOB, RICS etc.)
8. Formal facilities management, property construction or trade qualifications
9. Full UK driving license
10. Proven project management skills
11. Strong financial acumen
12. Ability to work under minimal supervision
