We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Planning and Timetabling Officer to join our Planning and Timetabling team in Registry. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the College’s curriculum planning and timetabling operations, ensuring accurate data, efficient resource use, and a smooth student experience.
About the Role
You will support the delivery of the College’s end-to-end curriculum planning and timetabling cycle, ensuring data is accurate, compliant, and aligned with funding and business priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
Producing and maintaining accurate timetables and curriculum plans
Supporting annual and in-year planning cycles and meeting key deadlines
Monitoring room utilisation and timetable efficiency
Ensuring data accuracy, validation, and audit compliance
Working closely with stakeholders across the College
Supporting planning meetings and coordinating actions
Providing excellent customer service through effective communication
Ensuring compliance with funding, audit, and regulatory requirements
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
You will bring:
A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) with Level 2 Maths and English
Experience in process improvement, planning, or data-driven roles
Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in complex data and scheduling
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and data systems
The ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
Strong communication and customer service skills
An understanding of data protection, compliance, and audit requirements
Experience in a further education setting and curriculum/timetabling planning is highly desirable.
