Monday-Friday Double Days (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
+ 1 in 6 Week Call Out Rota (24/7)
£50,000 + Regular Overtime

Do you want to work for a leading food manufacturer, part of a multi-billion-pound global group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to growth within the engineering team, they are looking for a maintenance engineer.
Role & responsibilities of a maintenance engineer:
4. Carrying out PPM, reactive & predictive maintenance/breakdown analysis
5. Dealing with industrial processing & manufacturing equipment
6. Working on such machinery / systems as:- conveyors, silos, blowers, presses, baggers, production equipment, mixers, elevators, PLC’s, fillers, robotics, 415V ac
7. Electrical & mechanical fault finding, analysis & repair
8. Part of the 1 in 6 week call out rota (24/7)
Knowledge, skills & experience needed to be a maintenance engineer:
9. Must be a multi-skilled engineer – electrically biased
10. Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship – NVQ Level 3 or higher
11. Be a problem solver, approachable, with good prioritisation skills
12. Able to react to breakdowns effectively, safely and efficiently
13. Both electrical & mechanical fault-finding capabilities
14. Need to be comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and using breathing equipment
15. Ideally have worked in food, FMCG, industrial fast-paced manufacturing
16. Flexible character – willing to partake in an on-call-rota, work extra hours if needed
