Contract Role – Oracle HCM Specialist – Warwick/Hybrid – 12 Months Initial – Inside IR35
Role Overview:
* Job Title: Oracle HCM Specialist
* Location: Warwick/Hybrid (Hybrid working to be agreed with the team lead, typically no more than 2 days per week).
* Contract Type: Contract
* Duration: 12 months initially, with high potential for extension
The Oracle HCM Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Oracle-based human resources and payroll database systems. This is a functional role with some technical requirements. Skills needed include:
* Application knowledge of business processes
* Effective communication with end users
* Understanding and prioritizing user issues
* Addressing questions/concerns from end users, client IT, or help desk
* Resolving problems reported by users and system operators
Required Skills
* Oracle HCM experience focusing on HR (e.g., Oracle HRMS, SSHR, Workflow, OLM, BI, SQL)
* Problem-solving, investigative, and analytical skills
* Experience in application support teams
* Knowledge of querying, manipulating, and configuring SQL
* Experience with help desk systems and managing service requests
* Ability to respond within SLA and OLA standards
* Strong client and project team relationship skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to provide sensitive and appropriate solutions
* Negotiation and persuasion skills
* Ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
Nice to Have Skills
* Understanding of ITIL framework
* Knowledge of UK Payroll Legislation
* Experience in the healthcare sector
