Eatsleepdoodle Marketing Assistant
We're looking for a visual, creative, social media savvy person to join the eatsleepdoodle team The ideal candidate should have excellent writing skills, a passion for creating and communicating content and be a natural planner. It is key that you understand eatsleepdoodle and action getting our message out to each sales platform and social channel optimally and on time – remaining diligent in ensuring the brand is always accurately represented.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this role will assist in the day-to-day marketing for eatsleepdoodle and take responsibility for running the social media channels and creating content. This role is right for you if you are super organised, efficient and thorough; someone who takes initiative and is comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Here at eatsleepdoodle we make fun, creative and educational gifts, from pillowcases to tablecloths, placemats to pencil cases, all to colour-in and customise with included wash-out fabric pens. As part of the team your duties will include:
* Running the social media channels - including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn. You will be responsible for ensuring content is made, scheduled and posted according to the marketing planner. We are a children's brand so fun, creative and thoughtful content is important to us
* Alongside running eatsleepdoodle's social accounts, you will help with social media customer service – ensuring any and all enquiries are responded to promptly and kindly.
* Scheduling and creating engaging marketing emails using MailChimp to retail and trade customer base.
* Contributing to marketing ideas and concepts; working with the Marketing Manager to create and execute an all-encompassing marketing planner to ensure co-ordinated output and planning in all areas.
* Contributing to marketing content planning meetings and create content including still imagery, GIFs, video and blogs.
* Organising and updating trade platforms with new listings, images and keywords.
* Ensuring optimal customer journey and experience on third party websites, developing, upgrading and constantly updating material, SEO, hashtags and meta-tags. Assist with researching keywords/SEO and writing copy for platforms where needed.
* Acquiring best possible press, online and editorial coverage internationally, logging outcomes to direct future actions. This includes working with influencers and affiliate programmes on social media channels.
* Organising all marketing materials, including copy and images, for trade and retail shows and exhibitor platforms. You may also be required to assist at shows when necessary.
* Running special online sales events/flash sales, working with third party companies to arrange these throughout the year. Staying up to date with the events; uploading new products and text and recording outcomes.
* Working closely with the Marketing Manager to plan, then action social media and Google ads; monitor and report on Google Analytics.
* Tracking and logging marketing expenditure – such as sample send outs and influencer outreach.
Marketing Assistant skills:
Marketing Experience Preferred, Social Media Experience Preferred, Technology Skills – proficiency in Photoshop and CapCut or other editing apps, Content Writing, Campaign Execution, Teamwork, Self-Motivation, Strong Communication Skills, Idea Presentation, SEO, Proofreading, Strong Customer-Service Skills, Enthusiasm, Detail-Oriented, Punctuality, Creativity, Reliability
40 hours weekly – office based/hybrid
