Act as a professional parent, offering encouragement and praise.

Provide emotional and physical support to help children reach their full potential, even in challenging situations.

Administer medical support, including physio routines, medication, PEG feeding, moving and handling, hoists, and lifting equipment.

Build friendships and trusting relationships with children.

Help children find pleasure in everyday tasks.

Ensure a safe home environment; responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, and cooking.

Experience and Skills:

* Experience in care such as adult LD, SEN education, medical or nursing care, elderly care, or working with vulnerable people is essential.
* Natural caring, flexibility, and resilience.
* Passionate about supporting children to lead happy lives.
* Physically able to lift and use hoists; manual handling is part of the role.
* Great communication skills; positive and energetic.
* Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
* Flexible working, including shifts and sleep-ins, is required.

Salary and Hours:

Starting from £13.60 per hour plus an additional £62.64 per sleep-in.

Part-time, 16-24 hours per week, with shift patterns including long days and sleep-ins.

Personal care responsibilities are part of this role. A full UK driver's license is required.
