We are seeking Refuse Cat C Drivers and Refuse Relief Drivers to join us in March 2026 and to be part of the council's refuse and cleansing team.
You will:
* need a Category C driving licence and driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card
* be able to load refuse bins each day
* be confident in using handheld tablets to record information (training will be provided)
* demonstrate self-awareness and confident approach to health and safety
* be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* need effective communications skills
* be experienced in working as a team with a can-do attitude
* be required to work early starts from 5am and variations to finishing times required.
