Salary – £38,000

Hours – 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible, agile working policy.

Holiday – 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)

About The HR Advisor Role

Due to rapid growth we have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our client services HR team in Southampton. As part of our national team and working in the London and South team, you will support the delivery of our Cross Sell Programme and help grow our HR presence in the region. Working closely with the HR Business Partner and the HR Assistant, you will support a variety of clients providing wide‑range HR advice and support primarily via email and telephone. You will also be involved in onboarding new clients and the monthly client billing process.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience within a fast‑paced environment. A dynamic role with excellent career progression, no two days are ever the same. As you may be required to travel to client sites at times, a car and driving licence are essential.


Responsibilities

Support the delivery of the Cross Sell Programme and grow the HR presence in the region.

Provide HR advice and support to a variety of clients via email and telephone.

Onboard new clients and manage the monthly client billing process.


Qualifications

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR advisory level role.
* Experience working in a HR consultancy environment is a distinct advantage.
* Well‑developed EQ to adapt to working styles and manage team and client requirements.
* Lead small to mid‑size clients, delivering proactive, legally smart and commercial solutions for performance, absence, disciplinary, grievances, redundancy, dismissal and change management processes.
* Strong experience producing documents or presentations from a brief, verbal or written.
* Excellent relationship and communication skills. Confidentiality and achievement focus.
* Keen to drive personal development in a professional services environment.
* Work under pressure, meet deadlines and respond promptly to our clients.
* Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. BreatheHR and IRIS is advantageous.
* Technology focused, able to adapt to multiple or new systems (in‑house and client‐sites).
